Passengers with destinations within the USA are required to keep their hand luggage to an absolute minimum only taking necessary items with them. This eases the security procedure. |

| The carrying of liquids, gels or items of a similar consistency in hand luggage is normally not allowed. Passengers are required to check-in as hold luggage the following items mentioned in point 1, as long as the security regulations for the transportation of dangerous goods within air travel are not apposed.

- Passengers are not allowed to pass through the security check points, as long as they have liquids or comparable items of a similar consistency (e.g. drinks, gels, sprays, shampoos, crèmes, toothpastes and soups),
|
except
a) each vessel containing liquids or comparable items of a similar consistency does not have a volume of more than 100ml
and
those under a) mentioned vessels are put together in a clear see through, resealable plastic bag (e.g. with integrated zip or similar) with a maximum volume of one litre are allowed to be transported. The complete contents of the resealable plastic bag must fit comfortably inside with the bag closed. The closure of common plastic bags with helping aids such as rubber bands or paper clips is not allowed.
Additional allowed are also:

- food, milk, or juice for babies as needed for the journey for babies or small children
- personally prescribed medication
- Aother medication (liquid medication, medical gels and/or sprays)
- liquids and gels for diabetics (e.g. insulin or also juices)
| insofar they are needed during the flight. The passenger has to prove the necessity, when asked by a security member of staff. (A doctor's prescription is recommended.)
Passengers, carrying more than the mentioned liquids afore or liquids under exception or similar items, with them, will be refused entry into the security area. These items must be checked in as hold luggage, as long as the regulations for the transport of dangerous goods are not infringed.
