Manual baggage check
If an item in your hand luggage was not properly identified, a manual baggage check will take place with you being present. Your baggage will be opened and the item must be identified. You may be asked to present a specific item so that it can be fully identified. With larger electronic equipment such as cameras and laptops you may be asked to perform a function test so that we can make sure, that your electronic equipment is in full working order.
On flights to the USA further security controls will take place upon entering the waiting area by your gate.
To save time, passengers travelling to the USA are recommended to proceed as soon as possible to their gate of departure and for the second security check.
