Our checkpoints for security controls within the departure areas of the terminals are equipped with the most modern technical apparatus, including x-ray machines and walk through and hand held metal detectors. Despite these control measures, should an item not be identified as harmless, our personnel also has the use of a so called EGIS appliance. This device scans an item for hidden explosives and analyses also the composition of the explosives. |
